It gives me immense pleasure to write about SNJB's Late Sau KBJ CoE Examination Cell. The examination cell is an important backbone of any autonomous institute. The major responsibility of the Examination Cell is to conduct all the examinations in a fair, transparent and systematic way as per the plan mentioned in the institute’s Academic and Examination Calendar and to process all the results with extreme accuracy and efficiency. The procedures laid down by the examination cell are in accordance with the guidelines of the affiliating university, Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune and the UGC guidelines. 

Following are the salient features of the exam cell:

  • Technology enabled Digital Evaluation for reliable & faster assessment with no answer unchecked and no issues of totaling
  • CCTV based vigilance and disciplinary measures to restrict the malpractices in the examination
  • Use of QR code for blind assessment of answer sheets by the evaluators
  • Result Processing with utmost accuracy and efficiency.
  • Conduction of an open house for transparency and accountability: The students can view the assessed answer sheets online and compare with the model answers and/or the scheme of marking provided by the course teacher
  • Audit of question papers / question banks to ensure the quality of question papers
  • The grievance Redressal mechanism to take care of the students’ grievances related to the examination/result
