3.2 Innovation Ecosystem

3.2.1

Institution has created an ecosystem for innovations and has initiatives for creation and transfer of knowledge

Institute has created an opportunity for rural based graduate students to explore their new ideas and sharing of knowledge with other like minded in their areas of interest. 

The Research and Development Cell- inculcates research culture among the students and encourages continual excellence in engineering education. Objectives to identify the newer, multidisciplinary and innovative topics related to the programs. To motivate the faculty and students for research and to develop research culture in the Institute. To motivate the staff to pursue Ph.D. The teams participate in national level competition  Baja, Avishkar, Hackathons . All the expenses incurred are borne by the institute.After every two year institute organized the international conference, due the students and faculty get interacts with outside research and developed institute level research culture.  

Faculty members seeking higher studies are encouraged by offering study leaves for their course work. The research scholars are free to use institute resources for required experimentation and resources from the library. 

With this well-defined system, the students and faculty members attend seminars and workshops, present papers, participate in competitions and exhibitions as well as IPR registrations. The final outcome of this process is, new and innovative ideas transferred to successive batches, changing the mindset of their counterparts and guidance to the juniors. The faculty members and students with increased intellectual level acts as lighthouses enlightening others, resulting in overall quality enhancement, more career opportunities as well as overall growth of the institute. 

The Startup and Innovation Cell –    Entrepreneurship development cell has taken a greater responsibility to generate the entrepreneurship skills among the students and to help them to channelize their goals to become a good entrepreneur.Every year cell organizes the different sessions . under this cell incubation center started in 2021.
