Anti-ragging Committee

The committee is formulated with an aim of student centric activity. The anti-ragging committee is to prohibit ragging within or outside the college campus.

STRATEGIES:

To prevent the occurrence of ragging by following the provisions of regulations in the institution. To provide punishment to those indulging in ragging as provided for in regulations and the appropriate law in force.

FUCTIONS:

1)      To prohibit ragging within or outside the college campus.

2)      To sensitize students, to adopt measures that will prevent ragging.

3)      Give wide publicity regarding anti-ragging laws, policies, and the actions that can be taken against those indulging in ragging across the college.

4)      To take all necessary measures for the prevention of ragging inside the campus.

COMPOSITION:

The anti-ragging committee is constituted as per the guidelines given by Savitribai Phule Pune University's Student welfare department and UGC regulations on curbing the menace of ragging in higher educational institute Act 2009,  Chapter VI Section 6.4 and subsection 6.4.1
