The Institute Perspective Plan outlines a vision for progressive growth across critical areas

1. Teaching and Learning:

I. Deliver a high-quality, inclusive educational experience by:

Ø  Offering a robust curriculum that integrates current advancements in the field.

Ø  Providing state-of-the-art infrastructure to support effective teaching and learning.

Ø  Promoting holistic development through comprehensive extracurricular and cocurricular activities.

II. Expand educational opportunities by:

Ø  Enhancing the range of skill-based certificate courses to equip students with practical skills.

Ø  Preparing students for higher education, diverse career paths, and entrepreneurial ventures in healthcare and allied sectors.

2. Strategic and Development Plans:

Ø  Upgrade laboratory and research facilities to foster an innovative research environment and attract high-quality faculty and students.

Ø  Increase institutional representation and awards at national and international levels.

3. Community Engagement and Internationalization

I. Promote and improve:

Ø  Student and faculty involvement in community-based activities.

4. Short-Term Goals:

1. Increase student intake by 100 students in UG program to meet demand and improve diversity.

2. Broaden skill-based certificate courses with new programs aligned with industry.

3. Strengthen industry-academia interaction through visits, internships, and collaborative student projects.

4. Foster faculty development via short-term training programs, workshops, and seminars.

5. Introduce a D.Pharm. course to address demand for skilled healthcare professionals and expand program offerings.

5. Long-Term Goals

 1.  Obtain Autonomous Status to enable greater academic flexibility, innovation, and governance independence.

 2. Introduce new postgraduate programs that meet emerging demands in the pharmaceutical field, enriching the institute’s academic offerings.

 3. Establish a Research Incubation Centre to nurture innovation, support cutting-edge research, and drive institutional research growth.

  4. Achieve higher national and international rankings to strengthen the institute’s reputation as a leading educational institution.

  5. Set up a Drug Information Centre to advance pharmaceutical education and research, providing students and faculty with crucial resources for learning and innovation.
