STRATEGIES

The program committee typically focus on ensuring academic excellence, fostering innovation, and aligning educational programs with industry and social needs.

FUNCTIONS

i. Periodically reviewing the progress of the classes.

ii. Discussing the problems concerning curriculum, syllabus and the conduct of classes.

iii. Discussing with the course teachers on the nature and scope of assessment for the course and the same shall be announced to the students at the beginning of respective semesters.

iv. Communicating its recommendation to the Head of the institution on academic matters.

The committee ensures that the academic programs meet high standards of quality, relevance, and rigor. They oversee curriculum development, implementation, and review. Program committee often consider student feedback in their decision making processes, ensuring that students needs and concerns are addressed effectively.

COMPOSITION:

The B. Pharm. program shall have a Program Committee constituted by the Head of the institution in consultation with all the Heads of the departments. 

The composition of the Program Committee shall be as follows: 

1. A senior teacher shall be the Chairperson (Academic in charge);

2. IQAC coordinator

3. One Teacher from each department handling B.Pharm courses (Class teachers);

4. Exam coordinator

5. Eight student representatives of the program (two from each academic year), nominated by the Head of the institution.
