Governing Body
The Governing Body of the institution comprises of the management members, teachers, AICTE nominee, DTE nominee, State Government nominee, University nominee and Principal of the college. The Governing Body is held two times in a year.
FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. To participate in the teaching work, research, and training programmes of the University Department/College.
2. To assist in planning and implementation of academic programmes such as orientation courses, seminars, in service and other training programmes organized by the University Department/College, for academic competence of the Faculty Members.
3. To monitor admission of students and maintenance of discipline of the University Department/College.
4. Management College Libraries, Laboratory, Gymkhana and Hostels, if any.
5. Receipts, expenditures and maintenance of accounts and submission of quarterly statement of accounts to the Management and to the College Development Committee.
6. Observance of provisions of Accounts Code.
7. Correspondence relating to the administration of the University Department/ College.
8. Administration and supervision of curricular, co-curricular/extra-curricular or extramural activities, and welfare of the University Department/College, and maintenance of records.
9. Observance of the Act, Statutes, Ordinances, Regulations, Rules and other Orders issued thereunder from time to time.
10. Supervision College and University Examinations, setting of question papers, for the University Department/ College and University Examinations, moderation and assessment of answer papers and such other work pertaining to the Examinations as assigned.
11. Assessing reports of teachers and maintenance of Service Books.
12.Any other work relating to the University Department/College as may be assigned to him by the Competent Authority from time to time.
