WELCOME TO VIRTUAL LAB
Students will receive the outcome of an experiment using one of the following techniques (or perhaps a mix) through virtual labs. Using a set of equations to model the physical event and running simulations to get the experiment's outcome. At best, this can offer a rough representation of the "real-world" experiment. Supplying measured data that matches the data previously acquired by measurements on a real system for virtual laboratory experiments. Using a computer interface to remotely elicit an experiment in a real lab and present the results to the student. This would mean conducting the real laboratory experiment from a distance.
- To make labs in a variety of scientific and engineering fields accessible remotely. These virtual labs would serve research scientists as well as undergraduate and graduate students.
- To pique students' interest and motivate them to perform experiments. Through remote experimentation, this would assist individuals in understanding both fundamental and sophisticated concepts.
- To offer a comprehensive learning management system centered around the virtual labs, where students can access a variety of learning resources, such as self-evaluation, animated demonstrations, video lectures, and extra web resources.
- To pool expensive resources and equipment that would otherwise only be accessible to a small number of users due to time and distance constraints.

At present Dr. Dinesh V.Lohar HOD Mechanical Engineering Department acting as a Nodal Coordinator and Ms.Swati Bacchhav Lecturer in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Department acting as an Outreach Coordinator along with seven faculty members are Department Coordinators from each department. Our Polytechnic VLAB Nodal Centre was established in the year 2025.
