To prepare the next generation of Interior design professionals to shape the quality and condition of human experience in the built environment through design excellence, and to provide academic leadership through the scholarship of teaching and learning, design research, and commitment to advancing the profession.

PO1. Basic and Discipline knowledge: Read and interpret building plans, understand concept and principles of interior design drawings. Think critically about a design problem and identify to make use of appropriate materials and equipment's. 

 PO2.Experiments and practice: Plan and organize interior construction activities, working drawings, estimates and all interior services. 

 PO3. Engineering Tools: Demonstrate drawings manually and use of Computer aided software efficiently.

PO4. The engineer and society: Demonstrate knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to interior design and decoration practices.

 PO5. Environment and sustainability: Understand the impact of the interior designing solutions in societal and environmental contexts and Use of eco-friendly materials and user friendly.

 PO6. Ethics: Use of standard professional ethics, responsibilities and norms of the interior designing practices. Work as a team member and leader for given task and social activity.

 PO7. Communication & Project Management: Develop communication ability, Presentation skills and observation skills. Develop project management skills and quality control techniques in interior design and decoration.


PSO1: Design interior environment that support indoor environmental quality and improve the quality of life for occupants. Practice in all the interior disciplines.

 PSO2: Create, utilize and present interior designs, construction and related documents.

The Department of Interior Design And Decoration is one of the department in this Institution. It was established in the year 2003. The department offers Diploma program in Interior Design And Decoration. Approved by Director of Technical Education & affiliated to Maharashtra state Board of Technical Education. The Department has well qualified Experienced and Dedicated Staff members.

     Now there is need for creative and well trained professional who are knowledgeable in functional and aesthetic design of spaces for various human activities. In keeping up to date with modern trends involving in the field of Interior Designing and Decoration, this course will in turn result in improving the life style of the society.

      Students of Interior Designing And Decoration Have a vast scope in the field of Industrial Commercial as well as residential and specialized kind of interior prospects. To fulfill this need we provide all necessary infrastructure facilities and faculty and exposure to attain excellence in this field.
