Three-Day AICTE-Approved Faculty Development Program on Universal Human Values-I (UHV-I)
The Universal HumanValue Cell, SNJB's Shri Hiralal Hastimal (Jain Brothers)Jalgaon,Chandwad conducted a three-day AICTE-approved Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Universal Human Values-I (UHV-I) from July 03 to 05, 2025.
The FDP aimed to equip faculty members with a deep understanding of human values, enabling them to incorporate these principles into their teaching, professional practices, and everyday life. Over 15 immersive sessions, participants were guided through a structured journey of self-reflection, discussion, and experiential learning.
The inaugural session was graced by Dr. V.A.Wankhede, Principal of Institute.The coordinator of the event were Mrs.M.M.Wagh Lecturer in Chemistry and Shri K.S.Sonawane, Lecturer of Mechanical Engineering. The sessions were expertly facilitated by Prof. Aprajita Singh, who served as the resource person. The event also had the presence of Prof.Datta Pawase, Loknete Gopinathji Munde COE Nashik as the AICTE observer, alongside Prof.Kiran Naphde from Loknete Gopinathji Munde COE Nashik .
A unique highlight of the program was the Demo Presentation segment, where participants simulated classroom teaching by presenting topics discussed during the day. This activity encouraged pedagogical reflection and peer learning, offering practical exposure to value-based education methodologies.
The valedictory session was presided over by Mrs.M.M.Wagh, In her address, he emphasized the relevance of human values in today’s fast-paced world and encouraged faculty members to serve as role models in nurturing these values among students. Participants also shared heartfelt reflections on how the FDP resonated with their personal and professional experiences.
This program stands as a testament to SNJB's Shri Hiralal Hastimal (Jain Brothers)Jalgaon,Chandwad commitment to holistic education and the integration of ethics and human values into the engineering curriculum.
