Profile of department:
The Department of Interior Design And Decoration is one of the department in this Institution. It was established in the year 2003. The department offers Diploma program in Interior Design And Decoration. Approved by Director of Technical Education & affiliated to Maharashtra state Board of Technical Education. The Department has well qualified Experienced and Dedicated Staff members.
Now there is need for creative and well trained professional who are knowledgeable in functional and aesthetic design of spaces for various human activities. In keeping up to date with modern trends involving in the field of Interior Designing and Decoration, this course will in turn result in improving the life style of the society.
Students of Interior Designing And Decoration Have a vast scope in the field of Industrial Commercial as well as residential and specialized kind of interior prospects. To fulfill this need we provide all necessary infrastructure facilities and faculty and exposure to attain excellence in this field.

Studio 1:
Understand importance of the role of interior designer and be able to different between design and decoration. Implement processes of design. Apply concept of primary services. Design layout for services. The student will be able to design residential interiors ranging from simple activity based small-scale residence of about 30 Sq. M. to complex activity based large-scale residence of about 300Sq. M. (1-room unit to independent bungalow).
Major equipment’s: 1. Drawing board and Desk.
2. Drawing and Drafting equipment’s.
Studio 2:
Students will be able to identify an interior project ranging between modification of existing newly proposed specialized activity based space of about 100 to 300 Sq. M. (Institution, Government office, Cinema hall, Auditorium, Transport hub catering to road and rail, etc.) student will select appropriate type of furniture and design detail. Apply concept of secondary services. Gain first-hand experience in aspect of workshop, market survey, case studies and site visits related to subjects of second year.
