Students of 11th and 12th Science have options of choosing subject of Animal Science and dairying instead of Mathematics and Marathi along with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
It enhances, improves basic knowledge of agriculture, dairy industry and medical fields. These students have additional benefit of weightage of 10% marks in merit list of B.Sc. (Agri) course.
Animal science majors learn about the nutrition, breeding, behavior, and management of food animals. Topics covered include: dairy science, poultry science, livestock production, and aquaculture.
