Functions and Responsibilities of BOG
1. To upload the college’s legal statute in view of AICTE, UGC, State Government, affiliated University and any other body or agency.
2. To determine the educational excellence towards achieving the mission of the institute.
3. To take decisions regarding the intake and additional or discontinuation of any program accordingly recommending the Principal to take proper steps with an affiliating body to put this into action.
4. Approve the budget and suggest necessary corrections.
5. Nominate and constitute other central committees for smooth discharge of responsibilities.
6. Ensure proper management, maintenance and custody of the institute concerning land, infrastructure, equipment and funds, including loans and grants received from AICTE, etc.
Other key points of BOG
1. To create teaching, administrative, technical and other posts under the Institute and to ratify appointments thereto for the efficient management of the affairs of the Institute and to regulate their recruitment and conditions of service, in accordance with the Statutes, Rules & Regulations of the Institute and the relevant provisions made by other competent authorities like AICTE, UGC, University etc.
2. To provide necessary guidance for effective execution of the instructional programmes and maintenance of proper academic atmosphere and discipline
3. To review the results of examinations and to suggest for academic improvements on the recommendations of the body.
4. To hold, control and administer the properties and funds of the Institute
5. To provide for promotion of welfare of students, their residences, health, educational purpose.
