Admission Process

The Centralised Admission Process (CAP) to the first year D.Pharmacy course is governed by Dirctorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra. The 20% of total intake seats (presently 12 ) are institute level seats. These are filled by institute as per DTE rules and guidelines prevalent at the time.

The process commences  after admission notification and schedule by DTE on website:(dte.maharashtra.gov.in) and leading newspapers. The online registration of candidate and verification of documents in Centralised Admission Process (CAP) is mandatory for all kinds of seats in the scheduled period as per notification.

Fees of the college are decided by Fees Regulation authority of maharashtra State (website: mahafra.org)from time to time.

D.Pharm course is a 2 year post HSC science (after 12th science) diploma course and 500 hour professional practical training.  For admission to diploma in Pharmacy course, the candidate must have passed HSC (science) or equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology and/or Mathematics.

After completion of D.Pharm course and practical training the candidate is required to qualify Exit examination as per Pharmacy council of India's (PCI) directive, for registration as "Pharmacist" with respective state Pharmacy council.

Out of Maharashtra state  (OMS) candidates and Non Resident Indian (NRI) candidates can also be considered for Institute level seats, if Maharashtra state candidates are not available and seats are vacant.

 Every admission to first year D. Pharm course, requires registration, at Centralised Admmission Process (CAP) of DTE . After registration, verification of uploaded scanned original documents is mandatory. It is to be done in scheduled period as mentioned in admission notification.This process is required for all kinds of seats.

After verification provisional and then final merit list will be displayed on the website. Then you will have to fill option form- upto   ( with your login user ID and password preserved carefully) in the order of preference for the every round you desire to proceed separately and see website further for allotment of college given to you as per merit for respective round.Then confirm it , if the allotment is acceptable to you and contact college with documents and fees.You may move for betterment of alloted college in earlier round.

For admission to Institutional seat and for out of Maharashtra State (OMS) and Non Resident Indian(NRI) candidates contact the college.

Original and Photocopies of Common documents required For all students are -

1. HSC or equivalent examination marksheet or passing certificate.

2. SSC or equivalent examination marksheet or passing certificate.

3.School or College leaving certificate.

4.Passport size photo.

5.Proforma O declairation (  For religious or lingustic minority candidates only.)

6. For reserved category candidates

 a.Caste and caste validity certificate.(for all reserved categories)

b. Non creamy layer certificate valid for the said academic year (only For OBC, VJ, NT candidates)

7. Certificate in provided proforma from defence authorities (for candidate who is ward of defence personnel)

8. Certificate in provided proforma from health authorities  ( for candidate who is specially disabled or handicapped.)

9. Any other depending on category of candidate.(ward of current or ex-Defence employees/ freedom fighter/Central or state Govt employee/ Maharashtra Karnataka border disputed area)

Admission to First Year of PostHSC Diploma course in Pharmacy (D. Pharmacy)

Eligibility Criteria for Maharashtra State Candidates and Outside Maharashtra State Candidates:

Candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed the HSC (Std.XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics added together (Maximum of marks obtained in Biology/Mathematics shall be considered for the purpose of addition)

Fee structure For College

The interim fee structure for unaided Pharmacy colleges approved by The Secretary, Shikshan Shulka Samiti, Govt. Polytechnic, Kherwadi, Bandra (E), Mumabai will be made available on http://www.dte.org.in/ph2012. Unaided Pharmacy Colleges may have submitted their proposals for revision in fees to Shikshan Shulka Samiti. The revision in the fees if any, by the Shikshan Shulka Samiti will be binding on the students who will be admitted in college.

No additional fees other than the University Fees as specified by the respective University and Hostel Fees in case of candidates opting for hostel accommodation shall be charged at institute level from the candidates.

Cancellation of admission & refund of fees

The candidate should have taken admission by paying necessary tuition fee and should have submitted original certificates before he/she applies for cancellation. In case candidate fails to submit any of the original documents within the allowed time limit, the admission shall be treated as cancelled. The process of cancellation of admission shall be as per the guidelines given by Director, DTE, Mumbai in the prescribed information broucher of respective year.

  • The candidate desirous of canceling admission shall apply for cancellation in the pro forma-O only and should take the online receipt of the cancellation.
